Chessington Road/Hook Road
The event will deliberately be smaller and less expensive than the Fun Day which we have previously run and it is to capture the relaxed atmosphere of a country village fair (the clue is in the name) and will be aimed at providing entertainment primarily for children. The Epsom Rotarians are still in the early stages of planning but amongst the proposed attractions will be a Dog Show, a talent contest for young people and a display of Classic Military Vehicles along with a music provided by Epsom Hospital Radio who will host guest performers. There will be a number of stalls manned by a variety of groups including local and national charities, local small businesses and clubs. There may also be a presence from local schools. Rotary has asked each stall holder to provide an entertainment for children, so there should be no chance that the little ones will be bored!! Other attractions will be added so watch this space. To quench your thirst there will be a Beer tent run by Rotary and those hunger pangs will be taken care of by stalls selling a variety of food including traditional fare, Vegan and alternative foods as well as those all important ice creams. There will be a picnic area available.
