Local government in Surrey is changing. From 1 April 2027, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council and Surrey County Council will be replaced by a new unitary authority called East Surrey Council.

All housing and homelessness services in Epsom & Ewell will continue as normal throughout this change. This includes housing advice, tenancy and leasehold services, repairs, support and homelessness services. While the council name and brand will change, your home and the services you receive will not be affected. You do not need to take any action.
