Museum club

Here at Bourne Hall we run a popular club for children 8-12+ which meets between 1:00pm and 2:30pm on the second Saturday of each month. Each session costs only £5 per child and covers unique themes and periods, featuring regular re-enactors, many of whom have been on TV, to bring these meetings to life. Past club sessions have included workshops on Stone Age cave painting, joining the Roman Army, meeting Florence Nightingale, walking in the shoes of a Victorian child and re-imagining life during the World Wars.

Educational opportunities for schools

The museum also offers loan boxes and talks on local history for schools and home-educating groups across the area. To take advantage of this exciting opportunity to nurture your child or student’s interest in history apply via telephone or email.
