Topic papers

Our topic papers explain how we developed the Proposed Submission Local Plan. 

Each paper:

  • Examines national and local guidance that informed Local Plan policies. Note the papers refer to the national planning policy and guidance that applied prior to the updates made on the 12 December 2024;
  • Explains how our strategy developed; and
  • Identifies core evidence base.

Although these papers contain background information, they do not contain any of the following:

  • Policies,
  • Proposals, or
  • Site allocations
