Report change in circumstance
If a licence holder/applicant changes their name, address, other contact details (including telephone number or email address) or operator during the term of their licence or whilst their application is pending, they must inform the licensing team in writing within seven days.
A licence holder/applicant must notify the issuing authority in writing within 48 hours of an arrest and release, charge or conviction of any sexual offence, any offence involving dishonesty or violence and any motoring offence (including penalty points).

Report an accident
Under section 50(3) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 and the vehicle conditions for both Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle, the holder of the licence is required to inform the Council’s licensing team within 72 hours of any accident involving the licensed vehicle, and failure to do so is an offence. The vehicle’s licence holder or driver is required to use form provided in the Documents section beow to report the accident within 72 hours. Details must be accurate and complete. The completed form can be emailed to licensing@epsom-ewell.gov.uk

What do I need to know?
You will need:
- Insurance Certificate or Cover Note. To include use as a taxi or private hire vehicle
- MoT certificate (issued within the last eight weeks)
- V5C (registration certificate) or V5C/2 new keeper slip or V55 for a new car
- Appropriate fee.
