For our Autumn concert, we are asking our audience to leap aboard their time machine and join us on an intriguing Polyphonic Journey. Focusing on polyphonic music - interweaving lines of independent melody - our October concert will present music from the earliest plainsong to present-day composers including Roderick Williams and our very own Helen Williams.  On the way we will visit Josquin des Prez, Byrd, Tallis and another contemporary composer, Roxanna Panufnik.  The concert will culminate with Imogen Holst’s beautiful Mass in A minor.“An authentic updating of sacred music can take place only in the lineage of the great tradition of the past, of Gregorian chant and sacred polyphony.”Pope Benedict XVI We hope to welcome you on board our polyphonic ship so you can share this captivating journey with us.Book Tickets Now
