Jo Harrop – “a very fine jazz singer…a superb and unimaginably good vocalist”- BBC Radio 6 Music, to perform at the Epsom Jazz Club.This very special show will feature a feast of festive favourites and jazzy Christmas classics performed by singer Jo Harrop and virtuoso pianist Paul Edis, who together recently won Album Of The Year at the 2023 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for their critically acclaimed long-player, When Winter Turns To Spring. They will be joined by rising saxophone star, Emma Rawicz – who was recently dubbed ‘a force to be reckoned with,’ by Jazzwise Magazine.Taking the audience on a magical musical journey that goes from festive classics such as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Winter Wonderland to new takes on traditional hymns and carols including O Holy Night and In The Bleak Midwinter, the evening will also feature songs from the award winning album ‘When Winter Turns To Spring’ an achingly beautiful jazz journey through the seasons.
