Epsom Market Place is located in the High Street Epsom by the borough's landmark Clock Tower. The Market Place can be accessed from the High Street or by exiting the Ashley Centre Shopping Centre through shops and its two main entrances. There is a traditional market on Thursdays and Saturdays, open for business from 9am - 4pm. A variety of food, household and lifestyle stalls, many of them trading on both days.

The Market Place is home to Epsom Farmers Market on the first Sunday of the month. An amazing variety of locally produced farm goods are available from 9.30am -1.30pm. Other visiting Markets and events including Italian Markets and Town Fayres occur regularly throughout the year. Full details will be found in the events section of the website.

Trading at Epsom Market

We welcome both casual and regular licensed traders at Epsom Market. Casual traders that pay cash on attendance will not be guaranteed a regular trading position. Casual traders may arrive between 7.30am and 8am to be positioned for their trading day. Please ensure that you have pre-agreed casual trading with the Market Operational team by contacting 01372 732000.

Terms and Costs 2016-2017

The daily cost for casual traders is £43 per 3m x 3m. pitch. We do not supply gazebos, stall structures or tables. We require a minimum of five million pounds worth of public liability insurance cover to trade.

If you decide to become a regular licensed trader at Epsom Market your payments are made by monthly Direct Debit. The great news is that you will receive a six weeks annual discount and benefit from the weekly rate for both market days. The monthly charge for a 3m x 3m pitch is £165. This is paid on or around the 22nd of each calendar month. Street trader days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The charge for this is from £550 per year. We can accept this payment in two instalments.
