Free sports and creative activities for 9–11 year olds

Epsom & Ewell Young Legends 2026 builds on the success of last year’s inaugural programme, running from 2 November to mid-December 2026. It is designed to give children, aged 9 to 11, the opportunity to take part in fun, free and inclusive sport and creative sessions helping children build confidence, make friends and develop new skills whilst supporting those preparing for the transition to secondary school.

Delivered in line with our Health and Wellbeing Strategy, the initiative offers a safe and welcoming space where children can try new activities enjoy themselves and grow.  Sessions will be led by experienced and trusted coaches and practitioners. This year will see additional activities that offer even more variety.

Our Graduation event – celebrating everyone who has taken part in activities - will take place at Bourne Hall on Monday 14 December 2026; our Community Development team will be in touch with attendees and families.

Activities available to book from 17 September 2026

From 17 September, you will be able to book the following activities: SEN Arts & Crafts, Basketball, Girls' Rugby, Judo, Musical Theatre (Song and Dance), Scrapbooking and Sing & Sign Choir. Additional activities may be added to the programme. A full schedule will be published once confirmed, with full booking information available at the same time.
