Delays to deliveries of new food waste caddies
We regret that it has become very difficult to obtain supplies of the caddies that we use to collect food waste for recycling:

Government has required all councils who do not currently collect food waste separately to do so by 1 April (you may be surprised to know that, while Epsom & Ewell has recycled food waste since 2009, there are still many councils that do not). This has led to a very heavy recent demand for food waste caddies, meaning that delivery times have jumped from a few weeks to several months.
As a result, we have currently run out of food waste caddies, and we are working with other suppliers to try to get supplies in as quickly as possible.
Please bear with us while we work through this situation. At present, we cannot put a timescale on when we will next have supplies, but we are working hard to get them as soon as possible and will update you here.
Please accept our apologies, and our thanks for your patience.
