Ewell Village Bowling Club looks forward to welcoming new members. It was established in 2011 when Ewell Bowling Club and Ewell Ladies Bowling Club amalgamated although both their histories go back to 1936 and 1938 respectively. It is a very friendly club with members of all ages and abilities. Set in the heart of Ewell Village and close to West Ewell Railway station, the picturesque green is conveniently situated with ample parking for those who wish to drive. Allocated spaces are available for disable bowlers.
The club has a packed itinerary of friendly and league matches with other clubs in the area as well as many internal competitions and numerous social events. During the winter months we have various activities in our clubhouse to allow members to keep in touch. New members pay a reduced first year fee and receive free qualified coaching. Social membership is also available.
If you are interested in giving bowls a go then please come down to our Open Days on Saturday 2nd May 2020 and Sunday 5th July 2020. We will be open from 11am until 4pm with our qualified coaches ready to help you get started. We have plenty of bowls for you to borrow and would just ask that you wear flat shoes (trainers are ideal). If you can’t make those dates then pop along on a Monday or Friday (from 11th May) at 2pm when we have our informal roll ups and we can get you started then.
