The Shopping Service runs weekly in partnership with a local supermarket and provides a home delivery service for your essential food shopping needs. To use this service you must be a member of Meals at Home with a minimum meals at home delivery on the day you receive your shopping. A minimum delivery is either a meal and pudding or two tea services.
The shopping is delivered to your home on a weekly, fortnightly or on an as and when basis, depending on your requirements. The day before the shopping is due our friendly wellbeing staff will contact you by telephone to take down your shopping list. Your shopping list is then passed on to the local supermarket. The supermarket staff will pack the ordered items and total the cost. Our delivery drivers pick up your shopping from the supermarket the next day and deliver the items to your home address. When the groceries are delivered, the shop receipt will be provided for you to check. There is no minimum shopping order, payment is made by direct debit. There is a delivery charge for this service.
