General Notes on use of the fee tables
The tabulated fees are inclusive of VAT.
Extensions include all works required to construct the extension, including the necessary works to give access to the extension.
Works not necessary for the extension would be classed as other works and attract separate fees.
If other works are carried out at the same time as an extension there is a reduction on the other works fees. This reduction is shown in table C.
A "thermal element" as noted on the fee charges relates to the external faces of the building ie roofs, external walls and ground floors. If these are recovered, replastered or replaced they must comply with the current regulations and in particular Part L to reduce heat losses.
Any overpayments will be refunded less an administration fee of £60.
