We are responsible for cutting the grass in parks, amenity areas and highway verges.  Various regimes apply.

Grass Verges

Grass is cut in accordance with defined regimes. 

Damaged verges are repaired by Surrey County Council.

Overhanging branches

Owners are responsible for ensuring that trees, shrubs and hedges on their land do not obstruct pavements, paths or footways. 

We may ask you to prune, or take enforcement action or do the work ourselves and recharge the cost to you. 

We are responsible for removing obstructions arising from trees, shrubs and hedges on land in our ownership.
