Some properties do not yet have access to the new recycling services. These are mainly blocks of flats and other properties with less space for accomodating the extra bins required to recycle food waste, cardboard and plastic bottles.
Our Refuse and Recycling team began introducing the new recycling services to flats in September 2009. We are approaching each block of flats in turn, in a methodical route around the Borough, as each site may require its own bespoke arrangement of bins.
This may take some time. However, if you are keen to get the process started for your place of residence, please let us know and we will arrange for one of our team to get in touch soon.
