Recycling talks and assemblies

We are always happy to work with schools to educate pupils on environmental issues. Council Officers are regularly available to give talks and lead classes about the importance of recycling and the harmful effects of landfill. We also run occasional eco-themed competitions and are happy to assist with various other projects if requested. If you would like to speak to us about the possibility of working in partnership with your school, please contact us.

We also welcome the opportunity to come and talk to other childrens' groups such as Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides and Youth Centres.

The Eco-Schools project

Epsom and Ewell is already home to several schools which have embarked on the Eco-Schools project. This is a fantastic way to get children involved in environmental issues and allow them to lead discussions on a wide range of themes.

We applaud the excellent work of local schools and are proud to support their continuing efforts to reduce their environmental impact and spread the message of recycling.
