We would like to help you to recycle as much as possible.  We can offer extra containers if you regularly have more recycling than a standard set of bins can accommodate.

Food waste recycling bin

If you have recently received a food waste recycling bin and believe that it will not be large enough to suit your needs, please try the service before making a decision.  You may be surprised by how much less food you throw away when you are more aware of food waste.

If, after eight weeks of trialling the food waste recycling bin, you feel that you require an additional bin, we will provide one free of charge.  Simply contact us to request one.

We cannot provide extra kitchen caddies for free, but you can purchase them for a very reasonable price here.

Cardboard and plastic bottle recycling bin

There is no need to request an extra bin for cardboard and plastic bottles.  If you have any excess cardboard and plastic bottles that will not fit in your grey recycling bin, you can simply place them in clearly labelled sacks beside your bin and we will collect them from you on your normal collection day.

In order to limit landfill, we do not provide extra bins free of charge, unless six or more people live in your household.  Households of this size and above can request an extra bin.

Households of five or below can have an extra bin at a cost.  Find out more.
