Sainsbury's Sport Relief 2012Sainsbury's Sport Relief Logo

Come on down to The Nonsuch Park Mile and challenge yourself to run, walk, skip or hop your Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile in the surroundings of beautiful Nonsuch Park. Grab your family, friends and colleagues and go the extra mile whilst discovering the hidden gems within the park. The event takes place on Sunday 25 March 2012. Register online through the Sport Relief website.

Round the Borough Walk Round the Borough Walk Logo

The Round the Borough Walk challenges residents to walk 20 miles in 2012. The event takes place on Saturday 12 May 2012 and starts at Horton Country Park. Sports Awards

Sports Awards LogoEpsom & Ewell Sports and Leisure Council, in partnership with Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, organised the inaugural Epsom & Ewell Sports Awards 2011. With London 2012 just around the corner, the sports awards will create a local legacy to reward and recognise the Epsom & Ewell sporting community; from talented athletes and hard-working coaches, to committed volunteers and pro-active sports clubs.

Open Weekend Culture Vulture Logo

The Open Weekend (which marks a year until the start of the London 2012 Olympics) took place between 22-24 July 2011. The Open Weekend celebrated both sporting and cultural activities.

In 2011, a weekend full of cultural and sporting activities attracted visitors to the Borough and provided our residents with a weekend crammed full of entertainment. The Open Weekend activities were branded in Epsom & Ewell as the 'Culture Vulture' weekend.

Activities offered included high street catwalk shows, roaming Shakespeare, Alice in Wonderland tea party, football tournament, martial arts, badminton and much more!

2012

During 2012 there will be plenty of activities taking place for not only the London 2012 Olympics but also the Queen's Jubilee (which starts in Epsom) and it is the Boroughs' 75th anniversary.
