Volunteers play a very important role in Epsom & Ewell's parks and countryside.  For many years, volunteers have helped carry out nature conservation tasks and, in recent years, local people have been coming together to set up voluntary community groups, dedicated to their local park or countryside site.  Here are the groups that are currently operating:

Countryside Groups

• Friends of the Hogsmill
• Friends of Horton Country Park
• Epsom Common Association

• The Friends of Epsom & Ewell Parks (an umbrella group for all the parks' Friends groups)

• Friends of Gibraltar Recreation Ground
• The Court Rec Conservation Group
