Access

London Road Recreation Ground is situated in the northern half of the Borough.  The park can be entered from either the London Road, opposite St Mary’s Church in Ewell Village, or from the end of Shortcroft Road. There are no car parking facilities within the Ground itself. The Recreation Ground is open all year round and is not locked at night.

Facilities

The facilities include a children’s playground and area of mown grass suitable for informal ball games.

History

London Road Recreation Ground was purchased on the 4th of August 1910 for £650.  If you have a question or more information relating to the history, please call Bourne Hall Museum on 020 8394 1734

Wildlife

There are many species of trees and plants, which provide habitats for animals, birds and insects. We are compiling a species list for the park so if you spot an animal, bird or plant of special interest, please email us describing your find.
