Access
Hook Road Arena is situated in the northern half of the Borough, between Chessington Road and Hook Road, next to the old St Ebba’s Hospital site. There are three gated entrances; one off Chessington Road and two off Hook Road. These are locked and only opened for events. Off-street car parking is available when organised events are taking place. Cars should not be parked in adjoining roads.
The Arena may also be accessed by numerous pedestrian gates from Hook Road, Chessington Road and Melton Fields; and these are not closed at night.
Activities and facilities
Hook Road Arena is a very large open space which from time to time is used to accommodate events. Parts of the area are available for informal recreation at other times.
The Arena is used annually as the site for the Firework Display organised by the 7th Epsom (Methodist) Scout Group, and for other open air events and funfairs. For more information on the hire of the site or forthcoming attractions, please call us on 01372 732000, or send us an email.
