Further Information: St Crispin's day 1415, Agincourt, France - the time and place of one of
the most famous English victories in battle.
Outnumbered 6 to 1 by the French army, the English, led by King Henry V, viewed their enemy as simply "Enough to kill, enough to capture and enough to run away".
The English and Welsh longbowmen devastated the densely packed French knights and men at arms with their withering fire and helped to ensure a decisive victory for their king.
Meet with one of the victorious English knights and understand how the battle was fought and won. Discover the weapons used and the armour worn and learn just how effective the longbow was in highly trained hands.
