Further Information: Lunchtime Seminars by Epsom and Ewell Citizens Advice Bureau on the new Welfare Reform proposals. The government is introducing major changes to the benefit system over the next few years which will affect the lives of millions of people. Sponsored by the Local Strategic Partnership, Epsom & Ewell CAB are holding two lunchtime seminars for frontline workers whose clients and patients are likely to be affected. Who should attend? Frontline workers in Epsom and Ewell whose clients or patients will be affected by the proposals. Why? Inform clients or patients what the proposed changes are, how they might be affected and where to find information and advice. The main proposed Benefit changes which will be covered are: *Proposal to replace Disability Living Allowance with Personal Independent ayments. *Changes to Housing Benefit *The introduction of Universal Credit *The move from Incapacity Benefit to ESA *The latest developments on ESA *Proposals to abolish Community Care Grants and crisis loans Places are limited so please book early by contacting admin@vamidsurrey.org or ringing 01372 722911.
