When an election is held in the Borough, each ward has a polling station allocated to enable voters to cast their vote in person.
We will send you a poll card that contains information about the election several weeks before polling day. Your poll card will tell you the type of election being held, the date of the election, the hours of polling and the address of your polling station.
If you do not receive a poll card or are not clear as to where your polling station is located, you can either contact us before close of poll on election day or you can look up the location of your polling station via our Services for You option which is located on the Home page.
If you have registered to vote by post or proxy you will also receive information before polling day confirming that you will voting by post or proxy at that election.
