Complaints Against Members

All Councillors and Independent Members agree on accepting office to comply with the Council’s Code of Member Conduct. The Code is set out in the Council’s Constitution and forms and important part of a Members public obligation.

To make a formal complaint about the conduct of a member of Epsom & Ewell Borough Council you should write to:

To assist in investigating a complaint, you should provide as much detail as possible including your name, address and contact details, who the complaint is about, and the details of the alleged misconduct or breach of the code of conduct. The Monitoring Officer will acknowledge the complaint and explain how the complaint will be handled.
