Who can use the Centres?
The Social Centres welcome anyone over 55 or who is retired and who would like to take part in a range of recreational and social activities in a warm and welcoming environment. For your own safety, we only accept new members who are physically independent and mentally alert.
There are a number of rooms that you can hire for functions and events whatever your age. See further details of hiring the Centres.
How to Join?
Come to one of the centres where you will be asked to complete one of our application forms together with paying the annual fee.
How much does it cost?
Membership entitles you to access any of our other social centres without having to register with them.
Concessionary rates are available if you are on benefits or on a reduced pension. If you live outside the Borough you are also welcome to become a member.

Sunday Lunches
The Cox Lane and Wells centres are now open on alternative Sundays between 10am – 3pm. If you would like to meet new friends and enjoy a 2 course roast lunch, then please ring the Cox Lane Centre on 020 8391 5669 or The Wells Centre on 01372 724614.
Please ensure that you book in advance by 12 noon on Wednesday of each week
