What are Home Services?

The Home Services Officer will help you if you are in need of personal, medical or financial support.  We will make a visit to your home to assess your needs, explain the options available to you and assist you in getting help from the Council and other organisations.

Who can use the service?

Any elderly or disabled resident of the Borough.

What kind of help can be given?

We can make you aware of a range of services and information available, for example: 

  • Meals On Wheels
  • Route Call
  • Community Alarm
  • Social Centres and Luncheon Clubs
  • Bathing Service
  • Shopping Service

We can help you obtain equipment from health care workers and voluntary organisations.

We can give you advice and assistance with getting the right benefit entitlements.

We can liaise with doctors, district nurses, health visitors and hospitals.

http://www.cinnamon.org.uk  Peace of mind about your pets when you hospital care, also help the housebound with a dog walking service.
