Are you a local business, who would like to advertise in a high street position, or maybe a budding artist, or keen crafter? Do you have a hobby or a passion that you would love to turn into a business?
If the answer is YES, then Epsom & Ewell Borough Council’s new Local Enterprise Market could be for you!
The new Local Enterprise Market will start trading on Sunday 30 October from 10am until 4pm and will be in Epsom on the last Sunday of every month thereafter (with the exception of December due to the Christmas break). The Council will provide a trading space along with a supportive environment. There will be no charge for pitch rental until April 2012, when a nominal charge will be levied. All we ask is that prospective traders are residents or local business rate payers, can provide a stall suitable for trading and have valid public liability insurance.
Councillor Neil Dallen, Chair of the Council’s Strategy & Resources Committee said: “Epsom & Ewell Borough Council are committed to creating a vibrant and buoyant commercial centre in Epsom Town Centre and to celebrate the recent return of the market to Council management we are launching another fantastic new market.
“The Local Enterprise Market is a great opportunity for local traders, businesses and entrepreneurs to develop their trade in a community setting, as well as benefit from free pitches up until April 2012!”
